My husband and I both shared our lives with multiple dogs growing up in different regions of Kentucky.  When we married the first thing we did, as many married couples do, was get a dog.  A little rescue mutt.  It wasn't long before we had two other mutts, a basset hound, and a toy poodle.  Since that toy poodle in 2003 my husband and I's love for the breed has just continued to grow.  In 2004 we bought our small horse farm, 2006 our first standard poodle.  That same year, working as a vet tech, I was involved in an accident with a dog.  I had always wanted to show and breed but kept putting it off for the future.  That day I realized that tomorrow is never promised.  A few months later, suffering from night terrors and not yet diagnosed with PTSD, I rescued my second standard poodle from a puppy mill.  I realized that my future was not guaranteed, and that if I let my fear keep me from moving forward only women that raised them in the awful conditions from where I rescued Aries would be the ones shaping the breed I loved.  Two years later I purchased my first show dog, my fabulous loving silly Chilly Lilly.  Since then our lives have been dedicated to producing fabulous standard poodles in black and brown.  We are blessed to share our home with this amazing breed.
